Why your life is a mess… (And I’m furious about it.)

Dear friend,

I talk a lot about productivity, don’t I?

It might seem repetitive but self-mastery is so important – so earth-shatteringly, so fundamentally life-changing – that it’s worth going on about.

But do you know the biggest productivity problem I see people struggle with?

The main thing that gets in their way day, after day, after day?

The thing that trips them up year, after year, after year?

The thing that really makes my blood boil? 🤬

I bet you can’t guess…

Alright, I’ll tell you.

The biggest problem I see most people facing when it comes to achieving their goals and living their best lives is this…

They don’t realise that the single biggest problem they’re facing right now is a productivity problem.

Having trouble in your business or career? Productivity problem.

Relationships or friendships hard work? Productivity problem.

Not hitting your financial goals? Or your learning goals?

Getting constantly sick or run down?

Feeling anxious, overworked, overwhelmed, frustrated, tired or lost?

Productivity problem. Productivity problem. Productivity problem.

Why are you here? What kind of person do you want to be?

What does perfect look like for your health, relationships, growth or wealth?

How and why do you procrastinate? What reliably triggers it?

Where exactly did you invest your time and energy yesterday?

What’s the ONE most important thing you’re working on today?

How are you feeling?

What time is it right now (no peeking)? How far were you out?

If you didn’t have quick, concrete answers to these questions, guess what?

You’re f*cked.

I’m serious, you’re stumbling into battle every day blindfolded, naked and armed with a soft rubber chicken.

You’re spending way too much time worrying about the “what” and not enough time worrying about the “why” and the “how”.

And that’s critical.

Because the battle you’re heading into isn’t about stockpiling more money, or status, or success (though those things are obvious perks).

The battle you’re heading into each day is a fight for your one shot at life.

It’s a battle to be the happiest, most fulfilled, most mindful, most effective person you can be in each vanishingly short moment that you’re given.

And like all good struggles, the most important thing that you’re fighting for in this battle isn’t even yourself.

The most important things you’re fighting for are the people around you.

You’re fighting for your partner, your parents, your siblings and your children.

You’re fighting for your current friends and the new friends you just haven’t met yet.

You’re fighting for your neighbours, your community and your country.

You’re fighting for all the people in the world, wherever and whoever they are, past, present and future.

“What” you do every day ripples out through time and through space in ways you can’t possibly visualise.

And the most important parts of that “what”, the things that so many people miss, the things that both limit and define what success even means to you are your “why” and your “how”.

And your “why” and your “how” are fundamental questions of self-mastery.

Which is why (lordy lord I hope this sinks in):

You have a productivity problem.

Don’t believe me?

Click below now to check out FASTER TO MASTER’s 2-minute productivity quiz, then LEAVE A COMMENT and let me know how you scored.

You can take the quiz here:
https://fastertomaster.com/productivity-quiz/

It’s just the tip of the iceberg, but it’ll give you a quick idea of how big the gap is between where you are now and where you could be if you wanted.

Stop fighting life with one hand tied behind your back.

Stop pushing so hard on your problems when the doorway to solving them opens inwards.

Repeat after me:
I have a productivity problem. And I’m going to do something about it.

Then pick one habit from the list at the end of the quiz and get to it.

Do what you can, from where you are, with what you have and have faith that your tools and your skills will keep improving so long as you’re moving.

I’ll look forward to hearing how you’re getting along.

And until next time, good luck, have a great weekend and go well 🙌
