If I could give 18-year-old Arthur one piece of advice – heck, if I could give 32-year-old Arthur one piece of advice – and have it REALLY sink in, that advice would be this:

“You are enough, just as you are.”

It’s easier said than believed. But doing so is essential to everything. It’s the key to the rest of this blog. It’s the foundation of interdependence. It’s the inner journey which lets us mature past a tortured and stunted expression of our suffering.

It’s also the secret you’ll discover again and again and again from this list of the best books on mindfulness. It’s the courage to lean in to the sharp bits. It’s the boldness to be here, right now. It’s the wisdom to know this is so, it cannot be otherwise and it tool shall pass.

I’m definitely not there yet 🤣 but whatever progress I’ve made can largely be traced to the words, work and wisdom of some of the wonderful teachers below.

I hope you enjoy them as I have. I hope that you find what you’re looking for. And above all, I hope you discover what I’m still trying to learn for myself:
